With all the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19, and the recent loosening of restrictions, I’ve been getting a lot of inquiries about photo sessions both previously booked (upcoming for this Winter) as well as new bookings (wondering if I am open for business). I am writing this to clear up any confusion, to state my personal policy, and to let you know what to expect moving forward in regards to photo sessions.
First off, it goes without saying that safety is top priority. I understand that everyone has a different comfort level with what they see as acceptable (And different states are adjusting differently to this unprecedented pandemic). I take health, yours and mine, seriously, and I ask that we all be open, honest, and respectful of each other’s safety needs and preferences during this time. This is a very fluid situation, so as updates are released, I plan to keep you updated. Starting September 1, 2020, I will be available for limited outdoor photography sessions. I will not be doing any at home sessions at this time. This means I will be available for a limited number of the popular Front Porch Sessions or Outdoor Sessions. During your session I will be wearing my mask the whole time. Proper 6ft social distancing will be observed at all times and I will use a zoom lens to capture close up and distance photos. I will be very excited to see you, but I will not be able to shake your hand when we meet. I will not be able to wipe kids noses, adjust their clothing or hair but I will still capture beautiful moments of you and your loved ones and I will direct you when adjustments are needed. I will also not be bringing my props, but we can discuss any props you may have available ahead of time. I will only be booking one session per day to limit my exposure to people and this will also allow me to fully clean and sanitize all my equipment before each session. Our session may not be what I would consider a "typical" session, but we can still beautifully capture precious memories of you and or your family!
