Check out these random cat photos on lomochrome purple I finally had developed. Sometimes you get wildlife like deer or owls.. other times you get cats 🤷‍♂️😂.

Finally! It’s been a while since my last post and it feels like forever honestly. I feel it has to do with a few things actually, one particular reason being my medical situation. It leaves me feeling very drained often both mentally and physically. Through God and a lot of prayer lately though I’ve felt a bit more relaxed and less stressed. Photography is one of my other outlets but the heat and my medical situation here has kind of slowed the outdoor adventures a bit.

That hasn’t stopped me from trying though! This is where one of the other reasons comes in to play. I have been shooting a lot more on film rather than digital. That has been a great deal of fun and a very interesting experience! I rather enjoy the process and how much more dialed in it makes you feel. It’s a very tactile experience and for me it feels more of an art.

That all being said, if you have not tried it and keep finding yourself looking at film cameras on eBay or used camera stores or thinking about that one your parents had when you were little..I say give it a shot and get one but make sure to do your research first!
I may have to make a video one of these days in regards to that subject 😂. It’s a slippery slope!

After taking a break I am back yet again and with more photos to share 🤌. Finally have a little printer I’ve been eyeballing and so far it really doesn’t disappoint for its size and simplicity! Sure it doesn’t do the massive prints I would like all over my walls and to give out, but it does give me the ability to see what my photos would look like printed! And I will say this… it’s amazing! 🤌 I am really impressed by this Selphy CP1500 and its ease of use. Now I just need one of your larger format printers 😂. Anyone need any post cards? It’s kind of addicting and probably going to get a little crazy over here as seen with the iPhone shot above (this is only the beginning and a few of them 😂).

When it’s time for portraits but you fell asleep sitting upright and hear a bag of snacks crinkling 😂.

Finally decided to use a flash again and use the cat as my test subject. He accepts a bunch of different treats as payment and as you can see he’s not one to run off unless there’s food or a bird involved 😂. He did wander off a few times but the moment I shook the bag he came flying back at Mach 5 to the couch 😂. He didn’t have both eyes open for this shot but I still love it!
