Supporting someone else’s business will never ruin yours.

I’ve always believed that small businesses should support one another. We all know how much time, energy, money and uncertainty go into building something of our own.

And supporting another business doesn’t have to cost anything.

Share their work. Recommend them to a friend. Leave a comment. Give them credit for a great idea. Celebrate their accomplishments, even if they do the same thing you do.

I especially believe this within the creative and wedding industries. There are so many talented people doing things in their own way, and there’s plenty of room for all of us.

Someone else’s success doesn’t take anything away from yours.

I’d rather be part of a community that supports one another than one that sees everyone as competition.

A beautiful beginning at Memory Hall. ❤️

Yesterday, Tayla & Peyton became the very first couple to get married at Memory Hall, and I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful way to begin this journey.

Surrounded by the people they love most, they celebrated their love in a way that felt personal, intimate, and entirely their own.

A wedding doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful. A smaller celebration doesn’t mean a smaller love, a less important commitment, or fewer memories. Sometimes, having just the people who matter most in the room is everything.

Congratulations, Tayla & Peyton! Thank you for allowing Memory Hall to be part of such an important day in your lives.

This is exactly why I love old photo booths so much. You never know how much a simple strip of photographs will mean decades later.

A little space for making big memories.

When I imagined Memory Hall, I wanted to create a place where two people could have a beautiful, dignified wedding surrounded by the people they love most, for less than $5,000.

Not a discount wedding. Not a lesser version of a big wedding. Just a different way to celebrate something that means everything.

Located at 2184 Seneca Street in Buffalo, Memory Hall welcomes intimate weddings of up to 25 people.

I intentionally kept the space simple so every couple can make it their own. Our packages include thoughtful touches like charcuterie, wedding cake, a coffee bar, and vintage analog photo booth photographs that become keepsakes from the day.

Couples are always welcome to bring their own photographer and officiant, too!

Depending on the package, experiences can also include a digital photo booth, audio guestbook, and VHS wedding video. Prices are plus applicable sales tax.

I recently finished restoring my second true analog photo booth, and it now has a permanent home inside Memory Hall, my new micro wedding and private events venue at 2184 Seneca Street in Buffalo.

Memory Hall is being created for couples who care more about being surrounded by their closest family and friends than having a huge wedding with hundreds of people. It is a smaller, more personal space built around slowing things down, being present, and making memories with the people you love most.

I also intentionally kept the space minimal. I do not want every wedding at Memory Hall to look the same. I want each couple to be able to bring in their own style, colors, flowers, details, and ideas so the room can take on a completely different look and feel depending on who is celebrating there.

That is exactly why this photo booth feels like it belongs here.

You step inside, close the curtain, take four photos together, and walk away with a real photograph in your hand. No filters. No phones. No endless camera roll. Just a moment captured on photographic paper that can be tucked into an album, framed, or found again decades from now.

To me, that fits perfectly with what Memory Hall is supposed to be.

A simple space that couples can make their own, filled with the people they care about most, creating memories they can actually hold onto.

This year marks 10 years of BuffaLoveBus, and as I look back, there’s one business that has been there through it all: Automotive Alley - Arcade

Keeping a 1972 Volkswagen Bus on the road isn’t always easy, but Jim Fleischman and the entire team at Automotive Alley have helped make it possible. For a decade, they’ve been the people I trust to keep the bus running, safe, and ready for every wedding, festival, corporate event, and photo booth adventure.

What I appreciate most is that they treat the bus like it’s their own. Their knowledge, honesty, and dedication have helped turn a crazy idea into a business that has brought smiles to thousands of people over the years.

A different kind of setup for BuffaLoveBooth at Buffalo Fashion Week.

Instead of a traditional backdrop, we kept the background active — letting the movement, conversations, and energy of the event become part of every photo. The result felt less like a photo booth and more like stepping into an editorial moment inside the show itself.

Sometimes the atmosphere is the backdrop.
