I always imagined getting to take my kids senior photos but never did I realize how much it would break my heart seeing just how quick he’s grown into a man.
You never realize how many firsts you have experienced with your children until the lasts start creeping up on you. First words, first steps, first laughs and conversations. The first time they hug you so tightly and tell you “mommy I love you so much.” Then they start getting older where hugs aren’t as long, kisses don’t happen because it isn’t “cool” and they start growing more independent. While I love seeing my kids grow into their own personalities sometimes I wish I could keep them little much longer. This year may be a year of new firsts, but it’s filled with so many lasts for me but also him.
Seniors soak it up because before long you’ll be wondering where time has gone too. Even with a heart so full and maybe a tiny bit achy from watching him grow up so fast, I still can’t wait to see what this year holds for him 🤍
