Yesterday’s surprise proposal on top of Enchanted Rock was nothing short of magical and emotional. And it gave me the opportunity to see my very first blue diamond! Congratulations to the sweet couple!!

There’s a moment in every session where the posing falls away and people just... exist together. Laughing at an inside joke. Leaning into each other without thinking about it. That’s the moment I’m chasing every single time. 🤍

When you hear from a client that “you captured us well,” I am ecstatic, as that’s my entire goal. I hope and pray for authenticity and genuineness with every single session (plus the perfect golden light).

Jason did sooooooo well!! Ashlynn was beyond surprised at his perfectly planned proposal at Signor Vineyards

With the help of several close friends, Jason was able to gather many of their close friends and family (most coming all the way from Louisiana!!) and pop the question.

Her FACE. 😭💍 The moment before she even knew what was happening, and then the moment she couldn’t believe it was real — I will never get tired of capturing this kind of pure, unfiltered joy.

Confession: to capture this proposal, I ended up hiding beneath the house 🏚️😂 First time I’ve ever had to go full stealth mode for a proposal, and honestly? Worth it. Dodging cobwebs and holding my breath so I wouldn’t get spotted before the big moment — that’s the kind of chaos that reminds me why I love this job so much.

Best part: she didn’t even clock me until after she said yes and was mid-hug with her now-fiancé 👀😂

Golden hour worked its magic on this one ✨ Officially declaring today “Senior Session Sunday” (yes, I just made that up, no I’m not sorry, yes it’s happening again).

Also — huge shoutout to the kindest, most understanding clients a photographer could ask for. Plans shifted, light chased us around a bit, and not one complaint. Just patience and kindness. That kind of grace does not go unnoticed 🙏

Already looking forward to carving out more time together for round two of these golden hour shots — we were just getting started 📸💛

Yesterday’s surprise proposal was everything a photographer hopes to witness—a beautiful garden, one heartfelt question, and the sweetest answer…

She said YES! 🤍✨

As if that wasn’t enough, the surprise continued when 15 of their closest friends and family arrived to celebrate. They had all traveled from Louisiana, and the love, excitement, happy tears, laughter, and hugs made this unforgettable. It was a beautiful reminder that the best celebrations are shared with the people who love you most.
