Transported to Rome without leaving Texas! ✈️🇮🇹
What an amazing dining experience at ! From the moment you walk in, no detail is missed. The warmth and comfort completely transport you to an old family home in Rome. We were greeted so warmly by the owner and his beautiful wife—true hospitality! 🍷
Now, let's talk food:
🥖 Started with the Bread Service. The Selection of our Home made bread (Whipped butter, olive oil, balsamic) was phenomenal, alongside the Mix Bruschette. The Pecorino, artichokes, mint & lemon and the Tomato and basil; Olive oil & garlic were mind-blowing. How something so simple can taste so transportational is crazy!
🧀 We moved on to the Cheese and Charcuterie Selection. Antonio sliced our meat to order right there, and paired with fresh Bosc pears and raw honey, it was absolute perfection.
🍝 For mains, the Pici Cacio e Pepe (Pecorino, black pepper) had the most perfectly al dente house-made noodles. We also devoured the Pollo alla Cacciatora (Chicken, olives, garlic, rosemary) and the Saltimbocca alla Romana. The Veal, prosciutto, sage encapsulated Rome perfectly. Chef’s kiss! 🤌
☁️ Finished with the Maritozzo con La Panna, a Roman traditional brioche filled with vanilla whipped cream.
Everything was perfect. If you haven't been yet, make a reservation ASAP! ✨
