There’s something so special about going back to the same place year after year.

At first, your kids are visitors. Then somehow, without you even realizing it, they start to belong there.

They know their favorite spots. They remember the little things. They know which way to walk, where to find the best waves, and exactly what they want to do before you even ask.

And for me, going back to the same place each year feels like exhaling. There’s no pressure to see everything or make every moment perfect. We already know where we’re going.

I get to slow down. I get to be present. And I get to watch my boys grow up with pieces of their childhood tied to a place they’ll always remember.

Because sometimes the most special memories aren’t made in new places. They’re made in the places we return to, year after year, watching our little people grow right in front of us. 🤍🌊
