I love extended family sessions!!! They are a perfect way to get the whole family involved. Whether it’s 8-10 of you or even 20-30! It’s chaotic and crazy but it’s so important to get those photos of grandparents, grandkids, adult siblings, cousins etc.

Okay before I get to talking about this amazing couple can we just take a second and appreciate this fine beautiful gorgeous BRIDE?!!! Because baby she killed it all day.

Okay back to the couple. What an amazing ceremony at Ironclad Inn - a Bed & Breakfast & Bourbon then dinner reception at Ristorante Renato in Fredericksburg with their closest friends and family.

Happy Birthday to my Carmen. Carmy. Carmenita. The big TWO. Everywhere we go people talk about how you are sunshine. How happy you make them. How contagious your smile is. You make my days better.

She loves mermaids, princesses and Barbies just as much as she loves spiderman, trucks and balls. She loves a good dance party and runs around asking for everyone’s hands and demands for us to dance with her. My favorite phrase of hers right now is “happy???” You have to respond “yes baby I’m happy are you?” And then she yells YEAH! And jumps in the air.

She was just this little unexpected blessing in my life. A total surprise and now I can’t imagine life without her.

Happy 2nd birthday Carmy!
