The Christmas Parade always brings out the best of Fredericksburg; everyone packed along the downtown streets, kids hyped, families everywhere, and the whole community showing up.

I put together this edit from last night. I haven’t posted in months… it’s been a rather rough year, and I don’t have any camera gear, so I’m not sure when I’ll be posting again. But I wanted to make something for the community while I still could.

Also, the guy singing up and down Caroline Street last night? That's my friend, Norman Voss . His full video is coming soon. Check out his page if you want to see his version when it drops and hear him performing some Christmas tunes and spreading the holiday spirit. 🎄✨

A busy First Friday in downtown Fredericksburg. With a performance by 44 Diesel starting off the Sounds of Summer concert series at the Historic Market Square, located behind the Fredericksburg Area Museum.
Also photographed around town were the Downtown Dolls, Pride Center FXBG, the annual Mrs. Roper Romp, Olde Towne Carriage Tours of Fredericksburg, and street performances by Wookie Flip, The Lion House Trio (IG ), and Josh Lewis (IG ).

Music on the Steps returns for its 40th year at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library with a stellar performance by Fredericksburg’s own ELBY BRASS.

Performances will be happening every Monday until August 25th at 6:30-7:30pm with a robust lineup of local artists.

Missed the Elby Brass? They will also be performing again at the Sounds of Summer concert series on Fridays downtown (which also starts back up this week) on August 15th at the historic Market Square, located behind the Fredericksburg Area Museum.
