About me;

I was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Virginia and have been a local to downtown for almost 40 years now. Downtown Fredericksburg is more than just a historic town to me; it is and always will be my home.

Yesterday, Fredericksburg rumbled.

I stopped by Colonial Tavern for the live music portion of the Historic Fredericksburg Foundation, Inc.(HFFI) Link Wray Tribute Party, celebrating Link Wray and his place in Fredericksburg’s rock ‘n’ roll history.

Aaron and the Beaux Ties took the stage for the evening, with a packed-in crowd at Colonial Tavern Home to the Irish for a night centered around the music and legacy of one of rock’s most influential guitarists.

A few scenes from the evening.

Views from Chatham Manor.

Sitting just across the Rappahannock River from downtown Fredericksburg, Chatham Manor has one of the best views of the city.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in Fredericksburg and beyond.

Especially to my mom, Tasha Vazquez. Everything I have and everything I am, I owe to her.

Thank you for always being there, for loving me, and for being a great mom.
