🚨 EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY 🚨
As a lifestyle photographer, it genuinely saddens me to share that, moving forward, I will no longer be posting images from child sessions, sessions involving children, or events where children are photographed.
Recent events such as The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled that privately possessing AI-generated CSAM depicting false children can be constitutionally protected when it stays within the home. Anything surrounding AI-generated child sexual abuse material is disgraceful and terrible. As a photographer who works with families and children, this is something I simply cannot ignore.
I have always taken the privacy and safety of my clients seriously. Even before this, I made it a point to ask families whether they were comfortable with their images being shared on my social media. But moving forward, I feel that protecting the children I photograph needs to go one step further.
The safety of your children and the privacy of my clients will always come before my business.
This does NOT mean I will stop photographing your beautiful babies, your growing families, or those precious moments that deserve to be documented. ❤️
I will continue creating and delivering those memories to you just as I always have. The difference is that those images will remain where they belong, WITH YOU.
I know social media is a huge part of being a photographer and growing a business, and making this decision may come with a cost to my business. But some things are simply more important.
Your children deserve to have their images protected, and I want to do my part.
