In this episode of 12 Art Pieces in 12 Months, I am at a point that I’ve photographed the main subject and now want to shoot backgrounds that would help tell the story. Two reasons why I decided to do this, one the original backgrounds in the photos weren’t helping tell the story in the way I envisioned and 2 I wanted to shoot them myself so that I had control and ownership over every part of the final art pieces. It’s pumpkin season and I’ve been seeing all these cute babies in real pumpkin costumes everywhere. I had to do the same with my baby. So through a little trial and error I carved a pumpkin outfit for Joey for his 6 month photoshoot. Here’s my contribution to the fall cute tax this year. Before I met you I didn’t believe that the love in fairytales existed. I thought it was all a made up fantasy. I had never truly been in love with someone before is what I found out with you.
When I fell in love with you, and I fell deeply, madly in love. I remember telling all my friends that I had found a fairytale kind of love, one I always wished I would find since I was a little girl. One thing I want to say is that love isn’t hard, it shouldn’t be, it should come easily like breathing air. I love you always and even more each day.
