HOLY. COW.

I took A LOT of time off this year. This past week I had 4 sessions after a 4 month break.

This engagement session is how the week ended and it did NOT disappoint.

I’ve missed shooting so much, I’m glad that I can be back behind the camera helping people freeze time- even if it’s just for a second.

I wish I had more pictures of my parents.

Honestly, I wish we had more family photos. As we got older, my family took less and less pictures. Family pictures were slowly pushed to the back burner.

I wish we did it more. I wish in our family photos pictures of my parents were just as big of a priority as pictures of all of us kids.

So don’t worry Mom and Dad. I’m going to make sure your kids have pictures of you. That way they can have something to look back on forever. I know, personally, just how important these pictures are. They deserve. YOU deserve it.
