One of my biggest pleasures in life is photographing people. I work hard to create a joyful experience and to deliver a fresh style, creative perspective and portraiture that celebrates the love and joy of families, and the uniqueness of the individual. I am constantly inspired to capture childhood moments, as they pass so quickly. Silly faces, sweet curls, pouty lips...

A great portrait has the

Happy Birthday to both of my boys. ❤️
May 7 and May 13 will always hold special meaning in my heart.
To my youngest son — happy 18th birthday. Watching you graduate high school and step confidently toward your future has made me so proud. Your path is your own, and I know you are going to do great things.
And to my firstborn — happy 20th birthday. I will always be proud of the courage and discipline it took to serve your country and become the young man you are today.
No matter where life leads either of you, never forget how deeply loved you are. Being your mother is one of the greatest blessings of my life.

This past weekend our family gathered for the Celebration of Life for my grandparents at Tuscarora Mill in Leesburg to honor the lives of my grandparents who passed at 97 and 96. They passed within months of each other after 75 beautiful years of marriage — a lifetime spent side by side.

Their story was most beautiful while they lived in Ranchos Palos Verdes, California, where they lived a life together, filled with love, and music. Just weeks before the ship’s current deployment, my grandparents ashes were spread from the USS Spruance, a Navy missile guided destroyer — a powerful and fitting farewell.

But more than anything, I will remember them for their romance and the music that filled their home. Grandma playing classical pieces on the piano while Grandpa accompanied her on the violins he lovingly made by hand — instruments our family will cherish forever.

A true love story. The kind that lasts a lifetime and beyond.

I love you, Grandma and Grandpa ❤️
