Most of you know me as the face behind Meg Farr Photography, but what many of you don’t know is that I’ve also joined the incredible team at True Standard Distilling in Downtown Frederick. Over the last few weeks, I’ve had the pure JOY of helping bring their Christmas vision to life, designing and executing the holiday transformation of the tasting room. And yes… you’ll even find me behind the bar this season slinging cocktails and Christmas cheer!

I am over here editing away on all my Family Autumn sessions and Christmas Tree sessions, but I had to pause for a moment and nod to the absolute joy of last weekend. I was invited into a really special wedding for my friends Chad and Ashleigh at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, and it was nothing short of incredible.

The weekend was filled with laughter, love, playfulness, joy, and all of our favorite salty beach colors.

This sweet family of three made my job so easy! Their one-year-old was an absolute joy to capture: full of giggles, curiosity, and those perfect little smiles that melted my heart.

She’s always had the heart of a wildflower: strong, free, and full of quiet beauty. Getting to photograph her senior session in a field bursting with blooms felt like pure poetry. So proud of her!!

Some love stories unfold quietly, over time, like the steady turning of a page you didn’t know you’d been waiting to read. For Patty and Dale, this chapter began later in life, but it came FULL of depth, laughter, and a sense of knowing.

As Patty said of their wedding day,
“It’s never too late to open your heart up to love and say yes.”

And what a beautiful yes it was!!
