Last month I hosted a relaunch celebration for my business Marie Rose Creative Co. and wow! Seeing everyone come together, take a moment to enjoy, and keep the celebration going was more than I could have ever asked for.

What an extraordinary day in Frederick! I am proud to be able to attend the Grand opening of AARCH Society African American Heritage Center honoring the amazing contributions black Americans made in Frederick county and the surrounding areas!

It was beautiful seeing everyone come together to recognize this long waited accomplishment and it makes me so proud to be a part of this city!

Wow... words cannot describe my feelings about this weekend. 🌹

This past Saturday, I celebrated my business Marie Rose Creative Co. with all the people that love, support, and appreciate my business and my growth.

It was a pretty amazing night filled with conversations, singing, and tears of joy. I appreciate my community for showing up for me and I hope everyone got a chance to celebrate themselves as well.

It's super hard for me to celebrate myself but I am so proud of where I have come and where I am going. This weekend I gave myself my roses and I am sooo glad I did.

Thank you to my team of volunteers that helped me put together this event Dr. ChaCha • Kiki • ~ a creative house • Evoke Art Studio Frederick ! Yall really said "what you need help with?!" And wouldn't take no for an answer.

Towards the end of the night my friend said to me "Jamie said he's got you.. it's your night." And that right there solidified that I had found the right husband for me.

I was honored to be a part of Women’s Lifestyle Magazine Body Issue. ❤️

I had the privilege of photographing some incredible women and hearing their honest stories about their relationships with their bodies, what they’ve overcome, and what it means to give themselves the grace they so freely give to everyone else.

Every conversation reminded me that confidence doesn’t come from having the “perfect” body. It comes from learning to see yourself with compassion, celebrating where you are today, and recognizing that your worth has never been tied to a number, a size, or someone else’s expectations.

Being trusted to shoot this was a gift, and I hope every woman who reads this issue sees a little of herself reflected in these pages.

This is exactly why I do what I do, to create images that help people feel seen, celebrated, and worthy just as they are.

Hi, I’m Alexandra Rose (Alexandra Gushard- Edwards ) founder of Marie Rose Creative Co. (Marie Rose Creative Co. )

Over the years, I’ve worn a lot of hats. I’ve planned festivals, curated events, captured milestones, built community, told stories through photography and video, and connected with some truly incredible people.

While the work has evolved, my mission has always remained the same:

To help people feel seen, celebrated, and confident in who they are.

That’s why I’m so excited to officially introduce Marie Rose Creative Co.

More than photography and videography, Marie Rose Creative Co. is a creative company rooted in storytelling, connection, and meaningful experiences. Through visuals, events, workshops, and creative direction, my goal is to create spaces where people can show up authentically and leave feeling inspired.
