A Little Life Update 🤍

I wanted to take a moment to be honest with everyone. Lately, life has been a lot, and my mental health has taken a hit. As much as I love photography and the incredible people I get to work with, I’ve realized I need to give myself permission to slow down and take care of myself.

Right now, my priority is catching up on editing so I can give every gallery the time and attention it deserves. If you’re currently waiting on your photos, thank you so much for your patience and grace. I haven’t forgotten about you, and I’m working my way through everything as quickly as I can.

I’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily pause accepting new bookings while I focus on my mental health and getting caught up.

If you already have a session booked with me, nothing is changing. Your session is still on my calendar, and I’m looking forward to capturing those memories with you.

This isn’t goodbye—it’s simply me recognizing that I need to take care of myself so I can come back feeling refreshed and able to give my clients the experience they deserve.

🚨 PSA for Fellow Photographers 🚨

I wanted to share a warning in case anyone else receives something similar.

I’ve recently received two different inquiry emails from potential “clients” wanting to book a photo session. Everything seemed fairly normal at first, but both eventually tried to pay using an eCheck, which is a common tactic used in photography and small business scams.

Some red flags I noticed:
• Communication was only through email.
• The inquiries were vague and lacked personal details.
• They were eager to pay quickly.
• They insisted on using an eCheck rather than standard payment methods.
• The wording and formatting of the emails felt generic.

For anyone who doesn’t know, an eCheck can appear to clear initially, but if it’s fraudulent, your bank may reverse the funds days or even weeks later. Scammers often use this delay to convince businesses to send money back or provide services before the payment is actually verified.

Please be cautious, verify clients when something feels off, and consider using trusted payment platforms and signed contracts before booking.

Stay safe out there and trust your instincts—if something feels suspicious, it probably is. 🖤

Family photos.. but make it fun (: One of the biggest concerns parents have before family photos is whether their kids will cooperate—and honestly? They don’t have to be perfect. ❤️

My family sessions are relaxed, playful, and focused on capturing real smiles and genuine moments. We run, play, laugh, cuddle, and make memories together instead of forcing stiff poses the entire time.

And the best part? We can finish the session at the playground! Kids get to celebrate being awesome, parents get beautiful photos, and everyone leaves happy.
