A boutonniere is traditionally worn on the left lapel of the jacket or suit coat, over the heart. 🌹

For a wedding, this typically includes:

* Groom
* Groomsmen
* Fathers of the couple
* Grandfathers
* Ring bearer (if desired)
* Ushers or other honored male family members

The flower stem should point downward, and if the boutonniere has a decorative front, it should face outward.

A quick photographer tip: make sure all boutonnieres are pinned at a similar height on the left lapel before ceremony photos for a clean, uniform look. 📸💍✨

1. Wear a button down or robe so you don’t mess up hair and makeup when changing.

2. Put a white sock over the steamer so you don’t get water marks on dresses.

3. Keep all food and drinks in one area so your photos don’t look cluttered.

4. Have everyone fully ready 30 minutes early because someone is always behind.

5. Assign one person to keep track of your phone, lipstick, and personal items all day. 💍✨
