I took this image in June of 2017. Karen Waldrup was playing at the Flora-Bama Lounge & Package. It looked as if we were going to have perfect weather to capture a great sunset shot. Unfortunately, halfway through Alabama, tropical storm “Cindy” whipped up. We all sat there, in the rain, for 2 days. The evening of the show, the storm finally blew off. Unfortunately, we were unable to capture the sunset shot. But we were able to capture this! Tropical Storm Cindy (2017) was the third named storm of the extremely active 2017 Atlantic hurricane season and became the first tropical cyclone to make landfall in Louisiana since Hurricane Isaac in 2012.
