Not exactly a work project but I’ve never taken stills on an adventure motorcycle trip before so this seemed like a great opportunity (spoiler alert, it was!). My dad, his high school buddy, his brother (my uncle), my younger brother and his friend all left Basalt last Tuesday morning to ride to Crested Butte for a night then spent a few days in the San Juan’s. Pretty unbeatable. Great weather and almost zero traffic🤘🏼

Saturday ride with Shep and Chris last month🤘🏼 Explored a new road (thanks Eric!) up to Mosquito Pass, scarfed some pizza and made it back in one piece. Wildly successful by adventure moto standards👍🏼

Photo dump from Webe Racing in Grand Junction a few weeks ago! I raced the 1hr 15 minute race on Saturday, but so did Michael, Reagan and Sandru....AND they all 3 did the SIX HOUR ironman race the next day...All 3 riding the Tenere 700 (Y).

All these shots are from the 6hr race. Big thanks to WeBe Racing for adding the Adventure Bike class on 3 of their races this season.

This was definitely more fun than I expected…fast, flowy 2-track in the California desert with a handful of other hooligans🤘🏼

At mile 10.5 my muffler fell off and I spent a lot 3 minutes trying to salvage it before leaving it on the side of the trail. I missed the podium by less than 3 minutes….guess we’re coming back for a better result sometime in the near future 👍🏼

Big thanks to the organizers, volunteers, medics, my pit crew, all the other races, and especially & for the very fresh new gear (those gloves really pop don’t they??)

Fresh gear thanks to & 🤘🏼 I heard new clothes added 5HP so we pretty much have this race on lock🙃😂

Heading out at 0800 tomorrow with 🤘🏼 Stopping in SW Utah to camp and enjoy a shakedown ride then we’ll (ideally) make it to Ridgecrest on Thursday. Can’t wait!

Some snaps from the Sandy Suffer Fest! I definitely struggled with the 460lb bike in the deep sand but the A and B class seemed to rip through it with ease.

Maybe we’ll come back for the Junction race in late June🤘🏼racing
