March of 2020 will always be a turning point in the world. For this beautiful couple (people I proudly call some of my closest friends), the world let them be for their one special day. It was beautiful, intentional, and so fun. Dancers know how to party!

6 years ago, the word “covid” was a new and mysterious thing. I was shooting a wedding in North Carolina for a very good friend of mine, and there was a lot of uncertainty in the air. Some family members and folks in the bridal party weren’t able to get there. Hand sanitizer was put out my the guest book and food. We had no idea what the next 6 months would look like.

But stay tuned - it was a BEAUTIFUL and SPECIAL wedding day. Those photos deserve a post all of their own…no hand sanitizer!

One of my favorite things about shooting in Nashville is how many incredible backdrops we have.
City textures, beautiful light, and families that bring all the personality.

This session was the perfect reminder that the setting matters… but the people in it matter most. 🤍
