In the most simple way I can put it:
People are BEAUTIFUL...like strikingly beautiful. However, we don't always see ourselves as beautiful, but we also aren't the ones looking at ourselves doing the things that light up our eyes and hearts. I was listening to a song called Lighthouse by Alex G & Danielle Bennett and there is a line that says, "I've never seen, but I can tell I'm beautiful when I'
m writing." People need to be captured in those moments where they are doing the things they love most. And not only that, but in the process. Whether that be writing, drawing, taking pictures, playing music, modeling, sharing a sweet conversation over a cup of coffee, or whatever it be - those are the moments where people radiate; those are the moments I want to capture. My hope is to combine portraits that show the natural beauty of those I'm photographing with whatever it is they are most passionate about. I want to capture the whole process of creating artwork - from start to finish - whatever that may be. Ultimately, I just want to capture people in their most natural form, wherever they're most comfortable - that's when true beauty radiates.
