Although I don’t design nearly as much as I used to, my creativity is always running… This year for our Christmas card I knew I wanted a toile pattern, but couldn’t find anything that ‘fit’ our little family. So I decided to create my own. Taking photos from our year I designed a perfect pattern. I’m blessed to be able to use my skills, even if it’s for our Christmas card or Blake’s birthday invites. This year was simply perfect as I learned so much as a wife and mother, and I’m thankful for everyone who follows along!

One season has begun and another is coming to an end. Ten years ago I picked up a camera and slowly created a business out of a hobby. Over this time I met some amazing clients, captured lifelong memories and created some awesome designs. I got to see parents enjoy their first days at home with their sweet newborns, watch kids grow over the years for family Christmas sessions, and helped make memories for seniors in their last days of highschool.
While I have so enjoyed my years of Em Photography and Design, I have decided that my time here has come to an end. In 6 short weeks we will be welcoming a sweet baby boy into our hectic life and my time will be occupied with being a full time wife and mom, all while I capture and create memories of our little family and farm.
I could never thank everyone enough for the support over the years! I hope you all still follow ZZ, baby Z, and me on here as I’ll document our life here through the years!

Working in my yard yesterday had me excited for green grass and finished flower beds! And it got me thinking about doing spring mini sessions for kiddos in Avoyelles Parish. If I have enough interest I’ll choose a date, and I’ll have a Spring/Easter theme set up and a non-theme set up. Message me if you are interested!

It’s our first day back in my office! We are officially back from our holiday, wedding, honeymoon time off, and I can’t wait to get to work. It’s been seven and a half years since I’ve lived at one place and not out of a suitcase. Last night we unpacked and picked up my bag, so I guess I can officially say Fitz and I are now citizens of Avoyelles Parish. I look forward to gaining new clients here and also traveling back south to my existing clients! I believe this year will be a great one, dedicating a lot of needed time to my business! ❤️EZ

It’s been a hot minute since posting here, but I wanted to stop and remind y’all of the face behind this page! 2020 has been quite the year for us (but who would disagree?!) But in 100 short days I’ll have a new last name, live in a new town, and will be ready show off all the new things I’ve been working on for Em Photography & Design! 📸:
