I found 3 baby birds tucked in a fern on my front porch this weekend and it made me think… it’s time for all of you to come in and check on your baby birds! 🐦🤍

Are you unsure of when you should come in for your first ultrasound?! Here are some images of what we should see week by week!

5 weeks (a gestational sac and a yolk sac and possibly a yolk sac)
➡️ 6 weeks the beginning of baby! (Called the fetal pole and you may see the heart flickering)
➡️ 7 weeks (looking a little bit more like a baby - you can tell the head vs body and can definately see the heart motion)
➡️ 8 weeks (baby is sprouting tiny arms and legs!)
➡️ 9 weeks (you can easily define more features of baby and see some slight movements)
➡️ 10 weeks the baby’s organs are formed but of course need to develop more,; you can see the umbilical cord and can see the baby move a little more (the placenta is starting to work now) 👶🏻🩵👋🏼🦶🏼
