This year I’m extra thankful for our life here in Tennessee 🤍 I sometimes wonder what life would be like if we never would have taken the leap of faith, left our families and moved across the country.

Our life is more abundant than I could have ever imagined almost three years ago. We have a beautiful home, friends that have become family, and a son who is an answer to so many prayers.

I’m thankful we left California and moved to Tennessee, because I don’t want to know what life would be like if we hadn’t.

Today, my son is 8 months old…and it’s just too close to a year for me.

8 months of holding, loving, nursing, watching, learning, giving, failing, succeeding, and enjoying every second of him. He makes being a mom pretty great! I’m thankful every day I get to be his mom.

Happy national breastfeeding week🤍

Our nursing journey started out rough, and truthfully hasn’t been easy. But I will never give up trying to make it work for my son. Being a mom has required the most sacrifices I’ve ever had to give, and nursing is no different. But I would do anything for this little one. I’ll be sad when Porter is done nursing, and I hope that day doesn’t come for a long time. But for now, I thank the Lord I get to nurse him each time I do 🤍
