I’m feeling immensely grateful to be making this sort of announcement. 2027 will be my biggest wedding year yet and I feel like I need to pinch myself to see if this is actually real. It’s happening. I am not taking anymore wedding bookings for the listed months in the images below.
This does NOT include elopements.
January - May has limited availability.
August - September has 2 spots.
December has 1 spot.

Please keep in mind I max myself out at 10 weddings a year. I intentionally do this to make sure each couple gets the utmost care, attention and time leading up to their wedding day, on their wedding day and everything after it. However, I have thought of opening up two more spots for 2027 as that would leave 4 more available spots instead of 2.

I have three discounted model calls for expecting mommas who are between 28-34 weeks pregnant who can do a session before the end of September.

One vision is an outdoor, weekday evening availability.
Two are in-studio morning availability.
Currently discounted to just $200.00.

In the past 24 hours, I’ve seen so many photographers making announcements about moving forward with no longer sharing images that show children’s faces on their pages due to laws, nasty people and AI.

I made a post a few months ago and I’m here to reshare it again because so many people are taking a stand for our children.
Please do not ever feel bad asking for your portrait session to remain offline or for images showing your child(ren)’s full faces to not be shared online.
As a mom who limits what is shared online of my own two children, I understand where your request is coming from - now more than ever.
The safety of your children and your family is always respected + protected here.
If you know me personally, you know I speak so loudly on the harm and dangers of AI. This is only the beginning of it.

If you didn’t already know this, I do frequently work with families who request for images from their session not to be shared. Families who come back to me each time they want memories documented simply because I respect them.
Some photographers charge additional fees to keep your images private - I will never do that.
As your photographer, you always have a choice with me.
During your booking process, you always sign a model release form where you check the box and sign according to your wishes that way I can make sure I don’t accidentally post something that I shouldn’t.
I personally am already selective of what images I share of children from a session and will be initiating more strategies into sessions to guarantee faceless or side profile images of your babies that can be used for social media.
So please know, you can still have professional photos done while still having your privacy respected when you book with me.
HDP is a safe space and will always be that way, especially when it comes to protection of all children.🤎

Sugar + Spice Mini Empowerment Event

One final event before I say goodbye to my studio - now booking.

The Sugar + Spice Empowerment experience is designed for solo maternity, mommas with one or two babies, or intimate/empowerment sessions.
These will be held September 26th & October 4th between 9:00am - 12:45pm in downtown Franklin, IN.

Your choice of which special edition set — spice is the red drapes, sweet is the white drapes. My regular boho corner is available in addition to either set you select.

A signed contract and non-refundable fee of $50.00 is due to book. The remaining balance is due three days prior to the session.

Sunrise sessions are almost always an option for weekend days regardless of availability so if you want a sunrise/early morning session for a weekend date in October or November, please do not hesitate to mention this!

The next 3 to book a Full Story session for October or November will receive their session for only $350.00!

The open sky, the fields that go on, the simplicity in the wooden fence + flowers and not to forget, the most breathtaking sunsets.
