Lunar Eclipse- May 15/16 2022

So as usual, rather than sit in the parking lot with everyone in Waynesville and their mother, I decided to hike up the mountain and get away from the crowd. It was nice- very foggy and windy- but nice.

Right after max eclipse there was a mass exodus of cars headed down the Blue Ridge, so I snapped my first ever, usable, 60 second exposure and got this awesome taillight shot!

No tripod- how steady are your hands?

A few weeks ago--

While I was taking sunrise shots that morning, this plane flew over and I snapped a couple shots just for the heck of it-- they turned out way better than I thought they would!

Mountains and fog-- I woke up to the thickest fog/cloud I've ever been in yesterday. After about an hour, things cleared up, the sun poked out, and I was able to capture this awesome shot!
