Crazy getting the opportunity to work with families as they grow over the years. From bridal showers to birthdays, Athena’s baptism was just as full of light, laughter, and a whole lot of dancing as her older brother’s was several years ago.

Always such a joy working with this crew and watching everyone somehow keep dancing for hours in heels like it’s an Olympic sport 😂🇬🇷

There’s something about New York Public Library that makes you slow down whether you want to or not. Marble, history, a little bit of ego. It’s not subtle, and neither is falling in love in a place like this.

We wandered the stacks and staircases like we owned the joint. Whispered jokes that turned into full laughs we probably weren’t supposed to have. Tourists pretending not to stare. Security pretending not to notice.

Luckily Morgan & Tyrone had a vision and were able to work with me seamlessly to achieve it 📚💕

I see a lot of fun themes and entertainment every year, but this was my first science-themed party and it did not disappoint 🧪✨

From the decor to the favors to a full-on interactive show by it was such a fun surprise. Not gonna lie, I learned a few things too 😂 then, of course the grand finale… every kid making their own slime.

The birthday girl spent the rest of the party referring to herself as “Dr. Parker” so I’d say the subliminal messaging is working.

Side note: I brought one of the favors home for Luna and it came with a mini volcano kit 🌋 which she ended up doing with (also his first time). Science for everyone apparently 👏

Some moms just get themed parties and Brittany is absolutely one of them ✨

From the desserts to the table decor to the custom shirts and that balloon backdrop, this is DIY done right. She knew what mattered most to her, locked in photography and a bounce house for the kids, and rallied her family and friends to bring the rest to life without going over budget.

We’ve been on a big Winnie the Pooh kick in my house lately, so getting to see Ava’s day come together like this was extra fun 🍯

And of course we wrapped it all up with a cake smash and a full blown ball pit battle. As it should be 🎈

📸 I photograph more than just weddings, engagements, and proposals.

Yes, I love a big love story. But I also love first birthdays, surprise parties, family sessions, anniversary dinners, backyard BBQs, and the random “we’re all finally together so let’s document this” kind of nights.

One of the biggest compliments I get is when families keep calling me back. I get to photograph the engagement… then the wedding… then the baby announcement… then the first birthday… and before I know it I’m watching toddlers turn into big siblings. 🥹It’s wild and honestly such an honor.

I kind of think of myself as a legacy photographer. I’m not just showing up for one milestone. I’m following your story as it unfolds throughout the years…. And here’s the cool part. When I’ve been around for years, the dynamic changes. The kids know me, the extended family recognizes me, and no one feels like they have to “perform” when the camera comes out because I’m not a stranger. I’m just Andrea who always has a camera.

That comfort makes the photos better. More honest, more intentional. Less stiff smiles, more real life.

So if you have something worth remembering, even if it’s not a wedding, I’m in.

I think everyone is feeling a little emotional from yesterday’s show of love and community.
It honestly reminded me of the dance floor at Sam & Kat’s wedding.
and I both (along with everyone watching) was fighting for our lives holding back tears.

Whether you’re a professional dancer or a goofy goober, we love seeing people fully enjoying themselves after all the formalities of the wedding day are finally over.
