All guests will also receive a card reading in honor of the beginning of Summer.
The summer solstice marks the longest day and shortest night of the year. Historically, bonfires and torches were lit during this time to honor the power of the sun and celebrate the peak of agricultural abundance.
Lanterns provide a modern, manageable, and magical way to continue this tradition of fire and light as the longest day fades into dusk.
Lanterns and the summer solstice go hand-in-hand as a beautiful way to celebrate nature's peak light. They are widely used in summer celebrations as decorative ambient lighting, to make pressed-flower crafts, or during traditional torchlight descent festivals.

We really love our country. The USA has stood proudly and beautifully for 250 years. We refuse to give up on the hopes and dreams of ordinary people, and we think it is a great time to celebrate families who feel the same. We see you; we are you.
We’re looking for local families who feel the same to photograph on beautiful front porches throughout Lincoln-Way later this month to celebrate smaller voices with big hearts for this country.
