About a year ago, I went through some financial difficulties and sold my camera and lenses. So I have not done much here. This is the first autumn I have been without a good camera. I took a few days up and used my Samsing Galaxy S24 Ultra to take photos. I'm glad this phone has a good camera. At least enough for me to share some photos. I took a few days to explore northern New England. It is an off year with the colors due to temps going up and down and back up as well as a drought. But even the muted colors offer beauty. Here are a few camera phone shots. I hope to get a new camera again (or a nice used one) soon. Happy October!

I was going through my Facebook memories and these photos came up from 12 years ago. I was still learning a lot then in taking photos but these were my first winter shots of a lighthouse. I do not even have the originals of these anymore because I lost an external hard drive with many of my early photos on it. For that reason, I am happy I took the time to upload them and they show up in memories. I see a lot of areas where I could have done better 12 years later. But I still appreciate them.
