My name is Amanda Holzer and I am an intermediate-level photographer! I am currently enrolled at McHenry County College for an Associates In Arts degree majoring in Photography. My journey of becoming a photographer started when I was quite young, my first camera was a FUJIFILM Finepix Z Series camera, a pink tiny little point-n-shoot. I remember wanting to take pictures of everything I saw, so I

did, and so the journey began. Since those days I have become more aware that photographing live music is one of my favorites, I have had the opportunity to work alongside some very inspiring and amazing bands over the years (all can be found on my “My work in…” subpage). My goals while in school are to focus on learning more about portrait photography and learning to photograph in busier communities such as the city.
