On any given day, you might find me capturing a sunrise from a mountainside at dawn or treating a patient in the Emergency Department. As an Emergency Physician, photography is my way of restoring balance—seeking beauty in the raw, untamed corners of nature. My passion for photography began in grade school when I read about a photographer scaling the Empire State Building for the perfect shot. Tha

t story sparked a lifelong dedication to chasing and capturing fleeting moments of magic, no matter the effort required. For me, photography isn’t about shortcuts; it’s about persistence. It means crawling out of a sleeping bag on a freezing morning, trekking through unpredictable wilderness, and standing for hours in harsh conditions just to capture one extraordinary moment. Like Emergency Medicine, it demands quick thinking, adaptability, and an appreciation for the unexpected. My work has been featured at the United Nations, in hospitals, public offices, private collections, and galleries from Laguna Beach to Miami. Sharing these images—and the effort behind them—has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey. What sets me apart from other landscape photographers is my perspective as a physician. The high-stakes nature of my career makes me deeply appreciate the tranquility of the outdoors, not just as a retreat but as a creative force. Photography grounds me, translating nature’s beauty, serenity, and power into art that brings a sense of calm and adventure into any space.

Interior designers often talk about sightlines. They're the natural path your eye travels when you enter or move through a room.

Most people never think about this consciously, but they feel it. Art placed directly in a sightline changes a room immediately.

Placement is as intentional as the work itself.

A lot of people hold off on collecting art because they rent and feel uncertain about committing to walls they do not own. But art does not belong to a wall. It belongs to you.

Renting is not a reason to live with bare walls. It is a reason to collect work that matters enough to keep moving (and growing) with you.

"20170728_GlacierCave_0654" and my other work are connected to the people who love them, not just the places they're displayed.
