🚁 Purdue students — come see us today!

Albertson Drone Service will be at the Purdue Agriculture Career Fair looking for the next people to join our team!

We’re currently recruiting for:

🌱 2027 Remote Pilot Internships
🚁 Full-Time Agricultural UAS Operations specialist

If you’re interested in agriculture, drones, precision technology, or just want to learn what a career in the rapidly growing agricultural drone industry can look like, stop by and talk with me.

I started Albertson Drone Service while I was a student at Purdue, so it’s always great to come back and hopefully connect with some Boilermakers who could become part of what we’re building.

Come find Albertson Drone Service today at the Corec booth 40 and say hi!

Boiler Up! 🚂🚁🌽

Nothing like record heat to kick off some cover crop spreading! ☀️🥵🌱

We’ve spent the past few days putting the drone to work spreading cover crop and definitely felt every degree of it.

Hot or not, it’s always cool seeing another way drones can help get work done efficiently and get seed out when it needs to go.

And yes… by the end of the day, 114° sounded about right. 😂🚁

First time for us using the T60X spreader. We’re rocking through the acres! Thanks for having us out Brian!

Made it to my first Becknology Days yesterday and I was definitely impressed! 🌽🚜

There was a lot to see, from new technology and equipment to research and what’s coming next in agriculture. I also really appreciated how accommodating everyone was. There were a few tour trailers I couldn’t physically get onto, and they made sure I was still able to see and learn about what was being presented.

One of the coolest parts was seeing Beck's Hybrids facility in person and finally getting to meet a few people in person that I’ve gotten to know through social media and the ag industry. It’s always funny finally putting a real person to someone you’ve talked to online for a while! 😂

Overall, a great first experience at Becknology Days. I’ll definitely be back!

Here’s a quick look at some of what we saw. 👀🌽

Pretty cool day today! 🎥🚁

We had Spray Drone Network come out to spend the day with us filming an upcoming episode for AcresTV !

We talked about how I got started in the spray drone industry, the story behind Albertson Drone Service, how we’ve adapted equipment and our operation to make it work for me, and how much this industry has changed since we got started.

It’s still pretty crazy to think that something I started back in 2020 has led to opportunities like this. I really appreciate Tanner and Mikaya for making the trip out and giving me the opportunity to share our story!

Be on the lookout for our episode when it comes out — I’ll definitely be sharing it! 👀🎥

And that’s a wrap on fungicide season! 🚁🌽

It’s been a busy month and a half of long days, a lot of miles, plenty of acres, and keeping two drones moving — but we made it to the finish line.

Couldn’t do any of it without our customers trusting us with their crops and our crew putting in the hours to get it done. Thank you to everyone who was a part of another successful season!

Here’s one last look at what the final stretch looked like. Until next fungicide season! 💪🚁

Full recap of our season coming soon!

Funny enough, this trend has pretty good timing… Spray Drone Network is coming out next week to film an episode about Kyle Albertson story and Albertson Drone Service for their show on AcresTV ! 🎥🌽

Never would’ve imagined any of this when I bought that first spray drone in 2020. Pretty cool to look back at how far this has all come — and we’re just getting started!

Stay tuned! 👀

We’re nearing the end of our season. Spraying a corn maze and surrounding corn!

🚁 Day 2 of following along with fungicide season!

We split up today — I pulled out the old trailer and paired it with the new drone while the interns kept the big trailer running.

We even had to shut down for a little while when a crop duster started working overhead. ✈️ Definitely part of sharing the airspace during application season!

We’re getting close to the finish line with less than 1,000 acres remaining. 🌽💪

And excuse the audio on this one… apparently my microphone decided it didn’t want to work today. 😂🎤

It’s been another busy week at Albertson Drone Service. From loading the trailer before sunrise to spraying fungicide and putting miles on the truck, here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what our days have looked like.
