🌕 Sturgeon Moon

Emotional Flow, Intuition & Release

Hi ABP Family,

The 9th Full Moon of the year invites us to go deeper within.

The August Full Moon is known as the Sturgeon Moon, named after the time when sturgeon fish were most commonly caught in the Great Lakes and waterways. It represents emotional depth, intuition, and the natural flow of life.

Under the Sturgeon Moon, we are invited to focus on:

* Emotional release and flow
* Strengthening intuition
* Letting go of resistance
* Trusting life’s natural rhythm

This is a time to soften emotional tension and allow feelings to move through rather than remain held within the body. Clarity often arrives when we stop forcing and begin listening.

I am so excited to invite you to Full Moon Resonance, a two-hour immersive sound healing experience guided by Erin Jordan from the Cancer Wellness Center. Through crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and drums, Erin creates a deeply restorative journey that supports nervous system regulation and emotional release.

Together, we gather under the Sturgeon Moon to slow down, soften, and reconnect with inner balance.

Our next gathering will take place on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Please bring a yoga mat, blankets, pillows, water, and anything else that helps you feel comfortable and supported.

No experience is necessary... just come as you are.

We look forward to sharing this calming and restorative evening with you.

“When you stop resisting what you feel, you begin to heal.”

Love and Light,
Amy Bezek Photography

I am beyond angry.

As a breast cancer survivor who is currently undergoing additional ultrasounds and other testing to make sure the cancer hasn’t spread to other parts of my body, I can’t help but ask questions about the environment we live in and whether we’re doing enough to protect public health.

As a photographer, I’ve made it my mission to offer complimentary portrait sessions to local cancer survivors and to families who have lost loved ones to this terrible disease because cancer has touched far too many lives in our community. Every story I’ve documented has reinforced one heartbreaking reality. Cancer is affecting far too many people here in northeastern Pennsylvania.

When I looked up our local drinking water in the EWG Tap Water Database, I was shocked. Our water utility serves more than 52,000 people, and the database lists multiple contaminants that have been linked to an increased risk of cancer, including hexavalent chromium (chromium-6), trihalomethanes, haloacetic acids, chloroform, bromodichloromethane, dibromochloromethane, dichloroacetic acid, and trichloroacetic acid.

Some of these contaminants exceed EWG’s health guidelines by significant amounts. The information is based on utility testing conducted between 2021 and 2023 using utility data spanning 2013 through 2024.

Whether you agree with EWG’s health guidelines or not, every one of us deserves to know what’s in our drinking water. Transparency should never be optional.

I’m sharing this because I believe people have the right to educate themselves, ask questions, and demand accountability. Look up your own water supply. Read the data. Decide for yourself.

I’m not claiming this is the reason so many people in our area are diagnosed with cancer. I am saying we deserve answers, we deserve transparency, and we deserve to know exactly what we’re being exposed to every single day.

Cancer has taken far too many of our friends, neighbors, parents, children, and loved ones. If sharing information like this helps even one person become more informed or ask one more question, then it’s worth it.

Knowledge is power. Please take a few minutes to look up your own water supply and share this post so others can do the same.

Look up your local water system to find out which pollutants might be of concern, and find suggestions on the best kinds of home filters to remove those chemicals.

Abundance, Purpose & Manifestation

Hi ABP Family,

The August New Moon reminds us that abundance begins within. Before we can create the life we envision, we must first create space in our hearts and minds to receive it.

Manifestation isn’t simply about wishing for something greater. It begins by aligning our thoughts, intentions, and actions with the life we hope to create. When we quiet the noise of daily life, we become more aware of the opportunities already surrounding us.

This month’s New Moon is especially extraordinary as it coincides with the Total Solar Eclipse on August 12. Throughout history, solar eclipses have inspired awe, reflection, and transformation, reminding us that even in moments of darkness, light always returns. Together, the New Moon and this remarkable celestial event create a powerful opportunity to release old patterns, embrace new beginnings, and set intentions with renewed clarity, purpose, and hope.

Modern life often keeps our nervous systems in a constant state of activity, making it difficult to hear our own intuition. Meditation provides an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and restore the balance that allows clarity, creativity, and inner peace to flourish.

This experience is especially meaningful to me personally. I will be traveling to Iceland to witness the Total Solar Eclipse while attending Björk’s immersive event, Echolalia. As a photographer, artist, and someone who finds inspiration in nature, music, and the rhythms of the universe, this is a journey I’ve dreamed about for years. Although I won’t be with you in person for our August gathering, Wayne and Mia from Universal Healing Network will once again guide you through a beautiful evening of meditation, Reiki, and gentle energy work designed to calm the nervous system and encourage deep healing. I know you’ll be in wonderful hands, and I look forward to returning home inspired and sharing that renewed energy with all of you.

This month’s gathering invites you to focus on abundance in every area of your life. Whether your intentions involve improved health, meaningful relationships, financial stability, personal success, creativity, or simply finding more joy each day, this New Moon encourages you to plant those seeds with confidence, gratitude, and an open heart.

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, water bottle, and any comfort items that help you fully relax during the meditation. Many guests also enjoy bringing a journal to write their intentions, along with an eye mask, crystals, or anything else that helps create a peaceful and restorative experience.

No previous meditation experience is necessary. Simply arrive with an open mind and allow yourself the gift of slowing down.

We look forward to sharing this beautiful evening of healing, reflection, and intention with you.

“What you nurture with love, patience, and gratitude has the ability to grow beyond your imagination.”

Hi ABP Family! 🤍

I totally forgot to mention that I was out of the studio this morning for my second branding photo shoot with Catalyst Acupuncture & Wellness!

One of the things I love most about branding photography is that it’s not a one-and-done investment. As businesses grow and evolve, their imagery should too. Holly is an incredible soul, a gifted natural healer, and I’m so honored she trusted me once again to create fresh content for her updated website and marketing materials.

This month has been absolutely packed with large commercial branding projects, and I truly feel so blessed. Helping businesses tell their story, connect with their ideal clients, and elevate their brand is one of my greatest passions.

This afternoon, I’ll be out of the office again… this time photographing at a local law firm. Every branding session, every commercial project, and every amazing client is bringing me one step closer to another dream I’m manifesting: expanding Amy Bezek Photography into two additional locations.

Dream big. Work hard. Stay grateful. The universe has a beautiful way of meeting you where your passion lives. 💚

Let’s do this! 📸

Love and Light,
Amy Bezek Photography

Hi ABP Family!

The studio will be closed today as I’m on location creating fresh branding imagery for Empower Sports Academy to elevate their website and marketing materials.

One of my favorite parts of what I do is helping businesses tell their story through intentional, high-end branding photography. It’s always exciting to create images that not only look beautiful but also help a business connect with its audience and grow.

I can’t wait to share a behind-the-scenes look at today’s session. Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Love and Light,
Amy Bezek Photography

🌕 Buck Moon

Strength, Growth & Personal Confidence

Hi ABP Family,

The 8th Full Moon of the year is calling us inward.

The July Full Moon is known as the Buck Moon, named for the time of year when male deer begin to grow and strengthen their antlers. It symbolizes resilience, steady growth, and the quiet development of inner strength over time.

Under the Buck Moon, we are invited to focus on:

* Building inner confidence
* Recognizing personal growth
* Releasing self-doubt and comparison
* Stepping forward with courage and trust

This is a powerful reminder that growth is not always visible in the moment. Much of what we are becoming is unfolding beneath the surface, preparing us for the next chapter.

I am so excited to invite you to Full Moon Resonance, a two-hour immersive sound healing experience guided by Erin Jordan from the Cancer Wellness Center. Through crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and drums, Erin creates a deeply restorative sound journey that supports nervous system regulation and emotional release.

Together, we gather under the Buck Moon to slow down, soften, and reconnect with our inner strength and direction.

Our next gathering will take place on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Please bring a yoga mat, blankets, pillows, water, and anything else that helps you feel comfortable and supported.

No experience is necessary... just come as you are.

We look forward to sharing this grounding and empowering evening with you.

“Growth is happening even when you cannot see it yet.”

Love and Light,
Amy Bezek Photography
