Just a little detail recap

The details will always be one of my favorite parts of a wedding day to photograph. All of those little pieces were chosen for a reason, and together they help tell the full story of the day. The portraits show the people and the moments, but the details help tie everything together, the colors, textures, florals, stationery, and all the thoughtful choices that made the day feel like theirs.

Engagement photos just hit a little differently once the wedding day has come and gone. 🤍

There’s something so sweet about looking back at this part of it all, when you’re still counting down, talking through wedding plans, and getting excited about everything that’s ahead of you.

And then somehow the day you’ve been planning for finally happens, it flies by, and suddenly you’ve already been married for a whole week.

So it felt like the perfect time to bring these two to the feed. Happy one week married!

It’s been one of those gray, rainy weeks where everything feels a little quieter.

The kind of weather that makes you slow down, pour another cup of coffee, curl up with your laptop, and spend the day reliving wedding memories through editing. I don’t always love the rain, but I do love the excuse to pause for a minute.

Since I’ve been seeing quite a few new faces around here lately, I figured this was the perfect time to introduce myself.

Hi, I’m Caroline, a wedding photographer based just outside Indianapolis, documenting love stories all across Indiana (and wherever your story takes me). 🤍

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me at home with my three dogs, watching trash tv, or dreaming up my next home decor purchase.

I love a mocha
I genuinely believe the in between moments are the ones you’ll treasure most.

The photos that end up meaning the most are rarely the ones anyone planned for.

They’re the in between moments.

The hand squeeze.
The flower girl watching quietly from across the room.
The blurry champagne cheering to the couple.
The reflections, movement, and little pauses woven throughout the day.

The kinds of images you may not think are “important” at first… until years later when you can’t imagine the story without them.
