2025

Things that stayed with me this year:

God makes things uncomfortable when He’s getting you ready to move.
The only expectations I’m responsible for are my own.
Boundaries will naturally thin out relationships — and that’s not a failure, it’s clarity.
Mental strength matters just as much as physical strength.
It’s okay to enjoy things.
Not everything deserves a response.
And I don’t have to know everything to begin.

I’m not just posting my favorite pictures — because 2025 wasn’t my favorite year.
But it was a defining one.

This year I stepped into life differently.
For the first time in a long time, I wasn’t living under constant responsibility for raising humans — my kids graduated and began their own adult journeys. And that shift quietly gave me permission to finally step into some of my own.

I pushed past comfort zones I didn’t think I could touch.
I threw myself into situations I would’ve avoided before.
I cried frustrated tears.
I learned it’s okay to do things that aren’t about survival or duty — but about joy.

I discovered that I truly love photography — especially rodeo photography — and found a way to give back to the community through it.
I placed boundaries where they always should’ve been.
I became more intentional with my mental health.
And I’ve been walking daily in growth with God.

2025 didn’t break me.

Which be what 2026 is. A refining year.
