This is what my family photography sessions are built around. Connection over perfection, movement over posing, and letting your kids be exactly who they are in this season.

As a natural light family photographer, I focus on documenting families the way they actually live and love: laughing, exploring, holding hands, and soaking in the fleeting moments that change far too quickly. These are the images that feel honest years from now… not staged, not forced, just real.

The art of noticing is what photography is really about.

It isn’t just what’s directly in front of the lens.
It’s paying attention to everything else… the moments unfolding around it.

The pauses.
The in-between moments.
The things happening while everyone thinks “the photo” is already happening.

Some of my favorite images are made when I’m watching what unfolds around the moment, not just the posed moment itself. This is the heart of documentary-style family photography and lifestyle photography.

Because the story isn’t only what you pose for. It’s what’s happening while you’re busy living it. 🤍
