I was only three and a half the last time we had men on the moon!🌖 So, it’s cool to see brave astronauts headed back to circle around the moon and start off this next set of crewed missions. Wishing a safe journey and return to the Artemis II crew! I’m really looking forward to the next several years of new space exploration! 🔭🌓

🌸Happy spring everyone! This Corten steel jackrabbit has been our favorite little sculpture in our backyard for many years. In the past three years, it has had a few bluebonnets bloom around it, but this year the jackrabbit seems to be sinking into them! Springtime in Texas is so colorful. 💙 I love having a piece of it in my backyard!

A little bit of downtown Fort Worth street photography with an extra dark neutral density filter. Found a nicely lit part of the street and just waited for people to walk by. These one-second exposures while panning on a tripod made for some dynamic streaks and layered movement. It’s an Impressionistic look I really enjoy bringing out with the ND filters. 📷🤠

🤠My wife and I were in Dallas recently and stopped by the Meadows Museum on the SMU campus. I’m always looking for angles, light, and framing and I found this great circular window framing one of the campus halls in the distance.
The museum is known for its impressive collection of Spanish art, including this “Altarpiece of Saint Peter” that my wife is looking at. You’ll see famous paintings from Velazquez to Picasso and sculpture from Rodin to Claes Oldenburg. Definitely stop by when you can! 🖼️✨

🤠This past weekend was the closing ceremony for the Texas Photographic Society’s 38th Annual Members Only Show at the Center for Contemporary Arts in Abilene. A big thank you to juror Wendi Schneider for choosing a great variety of photography. 💙Also, thank you to the amazing team at the Center for hosting the show and for the delicious treats at the reception. ⭐️
It was fun getting to meet fellow photographers along with society president Steve Goff and executive director Chris Ireland. It was so great to be in the show and to have my photograph recognized for honorable mention. 🎉
