This past Saturday evening was the closing reception of the Texas Photographic Society “Watershed” photography exhibition at The Pool Gallery The Pool Near Southside in Fort Worth. It was a great event where I met other photographers who were in the show and those out enjoying the artwork. A big thank you to juror Luther Smith for selecting my photo and to TPS executive director Chris Ireland Chris Ireland for organizing the show! 🇺🇸Celebrating 250 years of the USA!
To create an image to commemorate 250 years, I wanted something different photographically. I remembered noticing this cool reflection of the Stars and Stripes in the windows of the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. This great museum in Fort Worth houses an amazing collection of American art and photography, so I found it fitting to frame the flag in the iconic archways of this museum.

My fine art photography image titled “Kentucky Algae in the Fall No.5” was selected for the Texas Photographic Society’s “Watershed” exhibit. It will be up at the Pool Gallery in Fort Worth from July 3rd to July 25th.
Honored to be a part of this show! Thank you to juror Luther Smith for selecting my photo.

🤠Very excited to share my image “Totality & Phases 2024” was chosen to display in The National Competition 2026 at the Soho Photo Gallery in NYC!
😊 A big thank to juror Joanna Lehan who is currently serving as Manager of Curatorial Projects at the Museum of the City of New York. I’m honored to be with the other amazing photographers in this distinguished competition.
