It’s so exciting to watch Ash’s progress! She’s improving more and more each day, and I can’t wait until she’s ready for me to ride her. A few weeks ago I was able to go home and see her, and although I didn’t have the right lens for the situation, I managed to get a few good pictures. Huge thanks to Scott McClurg Cutting Horses for doing such a wonderful job with my girl.

Over the weekend I got the chance to take some photos of Scott McClurg, a cutting horse trainer and family friend, work some of his 3 year old horses, getting them ready for the upcoming futurity. Usually when I’m out there I’m the only turnback rider he has, and as a result am too busy working to bring out my camera. Luckily he had a couple more hands this weekend, leaving me free to capture the action.
