A few years ago I had a few friends convince me to attend Anime Fest in Dallas with them, having never attended a fan convention before, I made some life long friends and became ensnared in the atmosphere. The creativity, the hours or dollars put into creating the perfect character, it was art at its finest and friendliest. Fast forward 9 months, to Project A-Kon, I attended with the same group of
friends and borrowed the old family DSLR that most people own and never use. I followed my friends around shooting as much as I could, trying to capture all the cosplays I could. At that time I knew nothing of photography, but my friends told me I had an eye for setting the scene and picking angles, so I slowly started getting into it, first buying my own camera, then lenses, and lights and investing in classes. I found passion for art that I thought I gave up at the end of high school when I decided to study fields more apt for profit, but I found my spare time consumed with learning about lenses, lights and photoshop. I became inspired by Scott Kelby, Karl Taylor, Jared Polin and Jason Lanier, I moved on from just fan convention photography to shooting at events, doing portraits and head shots and even dabbled into landscapes for a bit. Fast forward a few years to 2017 and I'm still learning and growing, but with the help of many good friends I've made along the way, I am working on taking my photography to the next level. Thank you for listening to my story and welcome to my canvas. Mosleh Photography
Myr Tariniel is the name of an ancient city from Patrick Rothfuss' King Killer Chronicles. It was a great city known for its architecture and amazing art. It is for this reason that I chose this name, this page will be my collection of all the amazing artistry I find around me. Most of the pictures will be from different fandom conventions.
