Meet the Woman Behind the Lens 📸❤️
Brenda Trevino
First things first… Happy Birthday to me! 🥹🎉 As of today, I’m 34 years old.
I’m a wife, a proud mom of three beautiful children who mean the absolute world to me, and I’ve been with my husband for 9 years (married for 2). I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, and if I’m not behind my camera, you’ll probably find me on the ball fields cheering on my kids. Being a sports mom is a full-time job in itself! ❤️⚾🏈🥎⚽️🏀
One of the questions I get asked the most is, “How did you get into photography?”
Well… here’s a little of my story.
Life wasn’t always easy for me. By the age of 16, I had dropped out of high school and was working three jobs just to get by. From that point on, life definitely kept throwing curveballs.
Then in 2016, I lost one of the most important people in my life—my grandmother. In the years that followed, I continued losing people I loved. Grief became something I knew all too well.
After spending years in therapy, I realized I still needed an outlet—something that would help me heal in a different way. My mental health wasn’t where I wanted it to be, and I knew I needed something that belonged just to me.
So in October 2021, I made one of the best decisions of my life.
I bought my very first camera.
That same day, I made a post on my personal Facebook looking for models so I could practice. To my surprise, people trusted me enough to give me a chance… and BAM! The rest is history.
I’m completely self-taught. Everything I’ve learned has come from hands-on experience. I’m the type of person who learns by doing, not by watching videos or reading instructions. I spent countless hours practicing, making mistakes, learning from every session, and slowly finding my own style.
Every single session has taught me something new. Every client has helped me grow. Looking back at where I started compared to where I am now is something I’ll always be proud of.
I still don’t consider myself finished learning. I don’t think I ever will. Photography is constantly evolving, and so am I. Every day I strive to become a better photographer than I was yesterday.
To everyone who has trusted me to capture your milestones, your families, your babies, your weddings, your birthdays, and all the moments in between… thank you. Your support has helped turn what started as a way to heal into a business and a career that I truly love.
Photography didn’t just give me a career—it gave me purpose, healing, and a way to tell stories that will last a lifetime.
From the bottom of my heart… thank you for being part of this journey. ❤️
