Storm Boiz will be busy tomorrow!

Showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely to develop Wednesday afternoon and evening across eastern portions of the region. By late Wednesday night, storms are expected to form along the dryline as it moves into the region. Some of the storms may be strong to severe mainly north of I-20. Damaging winds will be the main threat, but isolated hail and a spin up tornado or two can not be ruled out. Stay alert to rapidly changing weather conditions and have multiple ways to receive weather alerts overnight!

Mid to Late Week Rain/Storms: Not much has changed with the latest forecast update. We are monitoring the potential for strong to severe storms closely as a system moves through Wednesday into Thursday. Keep up to date with the forecast as uncertainties are refined.

We are keeping a close eye on next week. This is the euro model, pink is thunderstorms, purple is severe thunderstorms. First image is 2/16 in the afternoon into the evening, second image is 2/17 around midnight. This is apt to change, and some of the other models may not be in complete agreement. We are keeping an eye on all of them as well as different parameters as we get closer to the day. Temperature for that day will be in the 70's. More to come as we find out more info.

(Chris)First storm chase I ever did. 03/24/21. With some help from my friend Alex in Florida, I was able to get some sweet shots of this recycling tornadic supercell. I captured the photos a little north of Evant Tx, and it produced a brief tornado east of Hamilton. I was caught in the RFD and was unable to see it. As I headed back home to Fort Worth, the same supercell remained tornado warned as it made its way to Dallas. Hoping to be on the other side of the RFD this year to grab some pics of tornadoes. And now I'll be chasing with my friend Devin, also will be chasing with Alex this year as well. Going to be a good year. Stay tuned.
