A newborn session should have photos in the nursery.......is such a misconception! Friends, please don’t force the nursery!!! Please don’t deliver subpar work to your clients because you feel like you HAVE to photograph your newborn clients in the nursery. This client’s nursery had NO windows. Like...ZERO natural light. And I was not going to risk the quality of the work my clients received, JUST because of what the room was.
In my early days, I would have turned on the overhead lights to make it work because I would have given into this invisible pressure. But now I can walk confidently into any home and know exactly where and where NOT to shoot.
