Something about holding a physical copy of photos…Polaroids are so nostalgic.

People can very quickly find something to criticize. For me and photography, they mostly say “stick to something” - can’t be photographing people one minute and landscapes the next. Stick to your own lane.

But the only lane I see is curiosity, and that’s a twisty and winding road. It doesn’t really head one way, in an attempt to reach a destination, but rather it explores.

It goes this way and that, reverses to double check something, and sometimes it takes a long nap.

But through it all, it’s there and it is doing what it knows to do. Love life and document it.

That’s me. That’s my photography.

Tis the season 🎄

Had to share this…this little guy, like many kids in a photo shoot, could care less about being photographed. But that’s actually my favorite part of photographing families - all the kids and their personalities and working with them through the chaos 💕

Kids are truly my favorite people to work with. I have a couple of other families I’m doing an outdoor shoot in December for - if you are still needing photos let me know, I’ll get you in too.
