There is something so special about getting to slow down and capture those first few weeks as a family. The tiny details, the sleepy snuggles, and all the little moments that make this season so sweet.

Every family is different, and I love getting to capture the things that make your family uniquely yours. Your story, your home, your connection, and the little moments that you never want to forget.

How amazing is it that we get to hold a tiny baby in our arms after watching them grow and form in their mother’s womb? What a beautiful gift and a reminder of God’s goodness.

I know everyone’s journey to parenthood can look different, and every season can hold its own joys, challenges, hopes, and prayers. Wherever you are in your journey, I am praying for you.

Today, I am celebrating the gift of new life and the incredible miracle of becoming a parent. 🤍

How adorable is this nursery and this beautiful family? 🤍

One of my favorite parts of an in-home newborn session is getting to see the nursery you’ve lovingly prepared. It’s such a special space, filled with anticipation, prayer, and excitement as you wait to meet your little one.

When we were getting ready for our son, we chose a surfer-inspired nursery with calming blues, warm wood tones, and little coastal touches. It felt peaceful, playful, and perfect for him.

Stay a little longer. 🤍

Hear a little bit about why I loved this moment from this session. ⬇️

I asked Dad to sit behind his daughters and quietly encourage them. They were so focused on their art, but every time they heard their dad’s voice, the corners of their mouths couldn’t help but turn into little smiles.

Then he leaned in and gave his daughter a kiss. She never took her eyes off him. It was one of those simple, beautiful moments that says more than words ever could.

Life gets busy. We’re tired, our to-do lists are long, and sometimes it feels like we just need a break. But I want to encourage you to stay a little longer.

Read one more book. Give one more hug. Cheer a little louder. Speak words of life over your children.

They are listening. They are watching. Your love, your presence, and your words are shaping their hearts in ways you may never fully realize.

Don’t let these moments slip away. One day, they’ll be the memories you treasure most. 🤍

Celebrating the beauty of pregnancy. 🤍

Pregnancy is a journey filled with both beauty and sacrifice. There are moments of feeling those tiny kicks, watching your body grow and change, and marveling at the miracle of carrying a little life. It truly is incredible.

At the same time, pregnancy can be hard. Nausea, aches, pains, cramps, food aversions, headaches, and exhaustion are all part of the journey for so many moms.

That’s why I love maternity sessions. They give us a chance to pause and celebrate this season for what it is. To honor the incredible work your body is doing and the love that is already growing for your little one.

One of my favorite parts of this session was getting to celebrate this beautiful mama as she prepares to welcome another sweet baby into her family. It was such a joy to create images that reflect not only her natural beauty, but also the strength, grace, and love she carries within. 🤍
