Thank you to this lovely couple for hiring me for engagement photos! They came to me not knowing how to pose, but I assured them that I would take care of them and help along the way. And honestly, look how cute these turned out! You’d never know they were new to photoshoots.

The point is, it’s completely okay AND normal if you don’t know how to pose or don’t know what to do in front of the camera. Not everyone is a professional model, and I’d never expect you to figure it out on your own. That’s exactly what I’m there for! I’ll make sure you feel comfortable and confident throughout the whole shoot with poses that work for you. Trust me, I’ve got ya covered. ♥️

Flatlays are honestly some of my favorite shots to do during the wedding day because I believe that even the smallest details deserve their time to shine. I hand-style these images from start to finish, ensuring that every detail in the photo makes sense and works with your wedding colors, design choices, and overall vibe. And yes, it really is a labor of love, but the end result is always so satisfying!

The way I see it is, as a couple, you’re putting a lot of time, money, and energy in your wedding. It’s my job to ensure that those little details are captured. That’s why I am constantly taking professional photography education courses to make sure that your wedding day is documented perfectly. And yes, I really did take a photography class on flat lays, because I’m telling you, there is an ✨art✨ to making these photos look incredible. So, when you see me hunched over a flat lay mat, moving tiny pearls and florals mere inches over until every thing looks just right, it’s because I care about you and your wedding memories.

This post is long overdue, but here are some photos from the first annual Pride Kel-So. Thank you so much to April and Shania () for having me as the event photographer. I seriously had the best time capturing these images and getting to talk to everyone!!

This event was full of love, happiness, and acceptance despite resistance from others. I’m proud to have been a part of Pride, and I can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🏳️‍🌈
