Anybody like seals? These are harbor seals resting on the rocks in Oregon at the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area.

They were fairly close, probably only 30 or 40 yards away.

Turn the sound on for this one! This beach at Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area, is called Cobble due to the fist sized rocks that cover the beach. They make very interesting sounds as they roll around and collide under your foot as you walk. Sounds like giant marbles. There is also a lot of wildlife in the area, including a bunch of harbour seals. Will post something for that.

Yaquina Head Lighthouse is an iconic lighthouse on the Pacific Coast in Oregon, just north of Newport. There is more to see there than just the lighthouse, there is a nice beach for tide pooling, bird colonies, seals and you can sometimes spot orcas offshore.
