Meet Me Monday: My Alter Ego

CPT Kimberley Kirnan — Army Public Affairs Officer and apex of where all my passions collide!

Now when I’m LARPing, I also get to photograph our service members in action and tell the stories behind the mission.

Photography has taken me from fields and stadiums all over the world to military training areas—and I couldn’t be more blessed.

Same girl. Different uniform. Forever carrying a camera. 🤷🏻‍♀️📸

Welcome to the other side of Kirnan Photography. I’m so glad you’re joining me on this mission! 🇺🇸

72 hours, 17 events and one final test. 💥

After three days of physical and mental intensity, the Best Observer/Coach Trainer (OC/T) Competition came down to the culminating event, the ruck march.

Competitors from across the formation had already been pushed through demanding challenges and long hours—But there was still 12 miles between them and the finish.

Check out some of the action as these incredible Soldiers dug deep and gave all they had until the very end. 💪🇺🇸

The competitors at the Best Observer Coach/Trainer Competition kept rolling with the Obstacle Course.

Speed, strength, teamwork and just a little bit of suffering came together as Soldiers took on every challenge in their path.

Check out some of the action from the O-Course. 🪖📸

Competitors from across the country brought their best to the physical training event during the Best Observer/Coach Trainer Competition in El Paso, Texas.

And then there were two. 🏆

Check out some of the action from this year’s Fort Wayne Three Rivers Tournament — because nothing brings out competitive spirit quite like that organized college team that competes in the adult 18+ league! 🤣

The further you go, the harder it gets. 🏉

Semifinal action from the Fort Wayne Three Rivers Tournament — where every possession mattered and there was no room to let up.

A little intensity, a little chaos, and a whole lot of fun!

These are just the first of many from the Three Rivers Tournament! If you spot yourself (or someone you know), give me a follow and send me a DM for the link to the full gallery.

Fair warning: there are a lot more where these came from. 😏
