Photographer Jason seeks to share captured images through the medium of digital photography in much the same way that writers, painter, poets, and Musicians seek to evoke feelings and reactions through their respective media. Born in Indiana, Jason considers himself a "Hoosier by choice," and a portion of his work depicts his love of the beauty that surrounds us. Experiencing his vivid scenic and fashion photography give the effect of being immersed in the moment with the photographer. His color photography depicts his love of composition that draws the eye to the interplay of light, color and shadow. In another aspect of his work, Jason's black and white portfolio runs the gamut from the natural to human form perspectives and more avant garde macro photography that emphasizes texture and contrast. Being a photographer takes a lot of drive. The only way I have found a small measure of success has been to let my interests guide my work rather than what sells. My job is to play at what I would be doing even if I wasn't working.
