Walking into our wedding 4 years ago, I knew the thing I wanted guests to walk away with more than anything else were hearts pricked more by the gospel than anything else.
For us, that meant vows revolving around our commitment to Christ and each other, corporate worship during the ceremony, and a moment of prayer surrounded by our families before we were announced husband and wife.
I often hear brides and grooms reflecting a desire for the same but lost on how to best make much of the Gospel in their ceremony. If you’re in the same place, wanting to make much of your faith and leave an imprint of a legacy of worship on your marriage, these are the ways I love to share.
Your desire to reflect your hearts for the Lord before your closest friends and family is so, so beautiful and above all, I’d encourage you to spend time in prayer asking God how He’d be most glorified in your wedding.
You can’t make a wrong choice if your heart is in a posture of worship 🤍
