I can NOT say enough good things about this gorgeous family! 😍 This is actually the third time I’ve had the joy of working with them this year, and somehow, each session gets better than the last!

The Flanicks are truly the sweetest family, and these kids were an absolute blast! They were so cooperative, full of creativity, and bursting with big ideas. Honestly, these photos don’t even begin to capture all the fun things they dreamed up during our session! I left with a heart full of smiles after so many hugs, laughs, and sweet moments. ❤️

You’ll never scare me away with a big family! The love, laughter, and joy they bring are what it’s all about!

Meet Jane and Gerhardt! ❤️ The sweetest newly engaged couple, head over heels in love, and counting down the days until their WEDDING in April! 👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️💍

These two were an absolute dream to photograph! Their love shines through in the sweetest little moments, and so many of those adorable smiles, giggles, and loving glances happened completely naturally. Honestly, they made my job SO easy!

Next up is the gorgeous Grace! 💚 This girl was an absolute natural in front of my camera, and I barely had to pose her at all! She made my job so easy and was seriously a pro! I loved hearing all her ideas and bringing her vision to life as we explored different poses, photo ideas, and locations. One of my favorite things about working with Grace was getting to see not only how beautiful she is on the outside, but how equally beautiful her heart is, too. She was such a joy to work with, and I had the best time capturing these special moments with her!

I had the best time last week doing a triple senior session, with three lovely friends/classmates! I won't be sharing one of the girl's photos on here, but I can't wait to show you the other two!

🌸 First up: meet Claire! This beautiful girl is a powerhouse soccer and basketball player who actually does coaching/conditioning with some of my own daughters! As strong of a player as she is on the field and court, she is just as sweet, kind, and lovely to be around in everyday life. And I absolutely LOVE her gorgeous red hair!! She is planning to go to Concordia in Seward, Nebraska next year to play basketball (along with her sister Ana, whose photos you may remember from last fall!). Claire, you are such an amazing young woman and I can't wait to see the plans the Lord has for you unfold!

I can't say enough good things about this next family. They are some of my family's dearest friends, and every time I get to do photos for them I am cracking up the whole time. These boys are a blast, and there's never a dull moment! Mom Nicole said toward the end how she always feels like there's no way we got anything good because things tend to get silly so quickly...but I think these photos prove that when you are laughing and having a good time, the photos just can't help but capture the love and fun. We have had the most wonderful fall weather lately, and I was so glad to have the evening to spend with this gorgeous family on Saturday! This family has so many exciting things coming up - a new grandbaby, a high school graduation, a vicarage placement, a wedding...so many blessings!! There is so much love and fun among them all and I had a great time getting to experience their family dynamic first-hand. Saleminks, you are wonderful, and it was a joy to be with you! I had my first senior of the season this past weekend, and he did not disappoint! I have known Jude since he was much younger and it is so fun to see what an amazing young man he has become! He is friendly, intelligent, and passionate, with hopes to attend Purdue University to study engineering. And it was so fun to incorporate his clarinet and tennis skills into this session! Some wedding days just come together in the most incredibly perfect way - and Nate and Meredith's was one of them. ❤️ I had the hardest time ever trying to choose which photos to share for this sneak peek!!

Meredith was an absolutely stunning bride. She's one of those people that makes you feel right at home and like a best friend the second you meet her, and it's not hard to see why Nate fell in love with her! Nate was a calm, easy-going groom with the greatest sense of humor that kept the whole day feeling care-free and easy. The way he looks at Meredith just melts me! And this wedding party was top-notch. They kept the party going and were so much fun to work with!

Nate and Meredith had an incredibly beautiful and reverent service that was such a testament to their shared faith. Every part of it was crafted with intention and a goal of pointing people to Christ, which is exactly what they did.

We arrived to the reception hall planning to take bridal party photos outside, but it was POURING rain. We had no choice but to skip them and hope that things cleared up later. And let me tell you, this was a moment that just shows when things don't go as planned, it's often because God has something better in store. We got the most GORGEOUS sunset I think I've ever had in a wedding! It was the perfect ending to a wonderful day.

It was such an honor to capture the beginning of this new chapter. Nate and Meredith, thank you for trusting me with these memories. Wishing you both a lifetime of God's blessings, love, and joy together!

What a fabulous wedding weekend for Ethan and Grace! I cannot say enough good things about these two. Grace was such an organized, sweet, and low-stress bride, and Ethan was the perfect, doting, go-with-the-flow groom. The combo of the two of them was so fun - which I think will be very obvious when you see the two of them together in these photos!

After a beautiful wedding at the church where Ethan's dad is the pastor, the reception was held at the home of Grace's parents out in the country - and let me tell you, the Gilberts know how to throw a party! It was such an amazing evening with heartfelt speeches, sweet dances, and fun games, and I don't think there was a dry eye in the house when Grace dedicated her bouquet to her mom. ❤️ And when this crowd hit the dance floor, they meant business!

Ethan and Grace, it was such a joy to be a part of your wedding day. The love and faith the two of you share is so evident and I was honored to be a witness to it! I am so excited to share your sneak peek with you. I pray God blesses you richly as you begin your marriage and for many years to come!

My session last night with the Peters family filled my heart with so much joy for so many reasons!

First, if these faces look familiar, you may remember them from years past. I had the privilege of photographing Harvey and Anna's engagement, then their wedding, and now their beautiful family of four! One of the greatest gifts of this job is walking alongside families through different seasons of life, building relationships, and being trusted to capture these special milestones. It is truly an honor, and I absolutely love it. (I'm adding Harvey and Anna's wedding photo to the end of this post - I'm so glad we were able to take family photos in the exact same spot!)

Second - can we talk about how precious these little ones are?! Both under the age of two, past their bedtime, and they still did an amazing job. And those big blue eyes? Absolutely melting my heart all evening!

Third, after rescheduling twice because of the weather, the third time was definitely the charm. We were blessed with a gorgeous evening - clear skies, beautiful light, and perfect conditions for making memories.

Peters family, thank you for spending the evening with me. It has been such a joy to document your story over the years, and I'm so grateful for this time together before your move to Iowa. Wishing you God's richest blessings as you begin this new chapter of ministry. You will be missed!
